ArogBhog Basmati Tukda: The Everyday Luxury of Authentic Aroma
At ArogBhog, we believe that you shouldn't have to wait for a special occasion to enjoy the heavenly fragrance of real Basmati. Basmati Tukda is often dismissed as "broken rice," but in an ArogBhog kitchen, it is the secret to the most flavorful everyday meals. While commercial brands often package dust, stones, and non-aromatic "hybrid" grains as Tukda, we offer you the "Heart of the Grain."
Sourced from the Footshills of the Himalayas
Our Basmati Tukda isn't just any broken rice. It is sourced from the Terai region of the Indo-Gangetic plains, specifically from the fertile belt of Haryana and Punjab. This area is the only place on earth where the soil and Himalayan meltwater combine to create the specific DNA of "True Basmati." Our Tukda comes from the same premium 1121 and Traditional Basmati crops used for long-grain exports.
The Fact is: Broken Grains, Unbroken Aroma
Most people don't realize that the aroma of Basmati is stored in its natural oils. When long grains break during the traditional milling process, those oils are "unlocked."
ArogBhog Basmati Tukda is Naturally Aged. Just like our long grains, our Tukda is aged for a minimum of 12 months.
-
Flavor Absorption: Because the grains are smaller, they have more surface area. This allows them to soak up Ghee, spices, and Dal much better than long grains, making every bite an explosion of flavor.
-
Perfect for Daily Use: It cooks faster and is much easier to digest, making it the ideal choice for Khichdi, Kheer, or your daily lunch bowl.
-
Authentic Fragrance: The moment you steam ArogBhog Tukda, your entire home will be filled with that signature "sandalwood and toasted nut" aroma that only real Himalayan Basmati can provide.
Why ArogBhog Basmati Tukda is Superior:
-
Uniform Size (Tibbar/Dubar Grade): We don't sell "dust." Our Tukda is carefully graded to ensure you get substantial grain pieces (known as Tibbar or Dubar) that provide a beautiful mouthfeel.
-
100% Purity Guarantee: We never mix our Basmati with "Nakkoo" (tiny dust particles) or non-basmati long-grain rice. You get 100% authentic, aromatic broken Basmati.
-
Naturally Aged, Not Chemically Treated: Many brands use steam-processing (parboiling) to hide poor quality. Ours is naturally aged in temperature-controlled environments to develop its character.
-
Clean & Stone-Free: Our rice undergoes advanced Sortex cleaning, ensuring that every grain is pearly white and free from impurities, stones, or black tips.
The ArogBhog Purity Test:
Boil a small cup of ArogBhog Basmati Tukda. As it cooks, the steam should smell like fresh hay and jasmine. Once cooked, the grains should be separate and "elongated," even though they are broken. If the rice smells like wet cardboard or turns into a sticky paste, it is likely a non-aromatic hybrid grain being passed off as Basmati.
