At ArogBhog, we source our Dalchini from the spice gardens of Kerala, where it is grown in its most natural, unadulterated form. Most of what is sold in the market today as "Cinnamon" is actually Cassia bark—a thicker, harder, and cheaper substitute that contains high levels of Coumarin, which can be harmful to the liver in large doses. ArogBhog Dalchini is 100% Authentic Kerala Cinnamon, known for its thin, delicate layers and its naturally sweet, woody aroma.

The Fact is: Commercial cinnamon is often "polished" with oils or treated with chemicals to give it a dark, uniform color. Our Kerala Dalchini is unpolished and raw. It has a natural, light-brown matte finish and is hand-peeled to ensure the inner bark—the most fragrant part—is preserved. Because it is grown in the humid, tropical climate of the Western Ghats, it is rich in Cinnamaldehyde, the essential oil responsible for its anti-inflammatory and blood-sugar-regulating properties.

When you use ArogBhog Dalchini, you don't just get a sharp "burn"; you get a complex, sweet warmth. It is the honest choice for your morning tea, your festive biryanis, or your natural wellness remedies.

Why ArogBhog Kerala Dalchini is the Real Deal:

  • Pure Kerala Origin: Directly sourced from organic farmers in Kerala, ensuring it is the high-quality Nadan variety, not the common imported Cassia.

  • No Artificial Polish: We never use wax or mineral oil to make the bark look shiny. Its natural, earthy texture is a mark of its chemical-free processing.

  • Low Coumarin Content: Unlike Cassia, our Kerala cinnamon is safe for daily consumption, making it the ideal choice for heart health and sugar management.

  • Hand-Peeled & Sun-Dried: Traditionally processed to lock in the volatile oils, ensuring that even a small piece provides an intense, lasting fragrance.

ArogBhog Quality Check:

Look at the bark: Cassia (the common market version) is thick, like a single hard piece of wood. ArogBhog Kerala Dalchini is thinner, with multiple delicate layers that are easy to break by hand. When you smell it, the fragrance should be sweet and pleasant, not harsh or "chemical-like."
